This article made no sense. Your problem seemed to be that you lived in a country that had bad opportunities and you were competing with the rest of the world doing crappy freelance work. Once you decided to emigrate to the EU everything was great. If you made that choice already from the beginning you would've had the same outcome, your skills here are secondary.
